Swami Vivekananda Health Mission

I have been associated with a group of doctors and likeminded people inspired by Swami Vivekananda, who formed a charitable society called Swami Vivekanand Health Mission in September 2012 and began its activities in Uttarakhand.

Gradually, the society expanded through the “Char Dham” project with hospitals and mobile medical units operating in each Dham. The mission is: “To worship the motherland by serving the neglected and exploited brethren in the backward, rural, and tribal areas, rendering them medical and other social aids.”

The vision is: “Total and all-round development of the tribes, poor, socially deprived, and other backward people of Uttarakhand.”
